Religious Services

Prison Worship NPMI facilitates a corp of volunteers from several local churches which ministers weekly in 3 federal prisons and 5 district jails. This includes Bible study, presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching, sermons, inspirational messages, talks, music and testimonies. While providing spiritual nourishment, these volunteers also provide much needed physical nourishment in the form of milk, juice, fruit, and bread. Whenever possible, Bibles are provided to prisoners who do not have them. Often guards take great interest in these services, and many have asked for Bibles for themselves. Government authorities have noted a major change in the prison environment since this ministry began.
